Afterverse Creators Program
Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct governs the participation of all individuals enrolled in the Afterverse Creators Program. It is applicable across all current and future Afterverse titles, platforms, channels, and community environments, including but not limited to in-game experiences, social media, events, digital forums, and direct communication with users or Afterverse personnel.

By participating in the Afterverse Creators Program, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the Code of Conduct. Violation of its provisions may result in actions ranging from suspension to permanent removal from the Program at Afterverse’s sole discretion.

Please note: Afterverse reserves the right to update or modify this Code of Conduct at any time. Creators are responsible for regularly reviewing the latest version to ensure continued compliance with all guidelines. Continued participation in the Program following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. While Afterverse may make reasonable efforts to notify creators of significant changes, it is the creator's responsibility to stay informed.

1. Scope of Application

This Code of Conduct applies to all actions, content, and communications associated with the Afterverse Creators Program, including but not limited to:

  • All content created, published or distributed by creators as part of their participation in the Afterverse Creators Program;
  • All public and private communications conducted in connection with the Program;
  • All behavior within official or unofficial community channels, including but not limited to Discord, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, in-game chat, live events, and third-party forums;
  • Any interaction, whether online or offline, where the creator is identifiable or perceived as a representative, participant or affiliate of the Afterverse ecosystem

For the avoidance of doubt, participation in the Afterverse Creators Program does not create any employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between the creator and Afterverse.

This Code applies to content and conduct occurring during the creator’s active participation in the Program.

1.1 Responsibility for Conduct on Third-Party Platforms

Creators are solely responsible for their conduct and content on third-party platforms, including but not limited to social media networks, streaming services, and online forums. Afterverse does not control or assume responsibility for any actions, statements, or content posted by creators on such external platforms, even when related to Afterverse titles or activities.

Creators must ensure that their external content and behavior comply with this Code of Conduct and do not harm the reputation, image, or commercial interests of Afterverse.

Any violation of this Code occurring on a third-party platform may result in corrective actions, including warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the Afterverse Creators Program, at Afterverse’s sole discretion.

2. Professionalism and Respect

All creators must conduct themselves with professionalism, respect, and integrity in all interactions related to the Afterverse Creators Program. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Treating all individuals with dignity and fairness, regardless of age, background, gender identity, nationality, religion, or beliefs;
  • Refraining from hate speech, harassment, intimidation, bullying, or discrimination in any form;
  • Avoiding hostile, inflammatory, or divisive public discourse involving other creators, users, or Afterverse staff. Afterverse reserves the right to evaluate such situations on a case-by-case basis.
  • Avoiding one-on-one communication with underage fans through private messages, voice calls, or other direct contact channels without the presence or awareness of a parent or legal guardian. When engaging with younger audiences, interactions must remain public, transparent, and appropriate for a family-oriented environment.
  • Acting with honesty and transparency in all public communications, especially when representing or discussing Afterverse titles or the Creator Program.

Creators are personally responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding online conduct, including but not limited to child protection, harassment prevention, and anti-discrimination laws.

Creators are expected to uphold and protect the positive reputation, image and values of the Afterverse brand and its community at all times.

2.1 Well-Being and Mental Health

Afterverse encourages creators to prioritize a healthy work-life balance and be mindful of their mental and emotional well-being. While Afterverse does not provide direct mental health services or professional counseling, we strongly support creators in seeking help from qualified professionals if they experience burnout, harassment, or emotional distress.

Creators are expected to act with empathy and awareness, avoiding behaviors that may contribute to the harm, stress, or emotional discomfort of others. Fostering a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment is a collective commitment among all members of the Afterverse community.

For the avoidance of doubt, Afterverse shall not be held responsible or liable for any mental health conditions, distress, or emotional harm experienced by creators or third parties.

3. Content Integrity

All published content must be honest, family-friendly, and aligned with the values of Afterverse. Creators are strictly prohibited from producing, promoting, or engaging in any of the following:

  • Gambling, betting, or casino-related services;
  • Sexual, violent, profane, or otherwise age-inappropriate material;
  • Misinformation, slander, defamatory statements, or intentionally misleading content, including but not limited to titles, thumbnails, metadata, or descriptions (“clickbait” or other deceptive practices);
  • The use, depiction, or promotion (whether direct or indirect) of tobacco products, vapes, e-cigarettes, alcoholic beverages, or any other substance inappropriate for a family-oriented audience
  • The use, promotion, or distribution of third-party tools, services, or websites that violate game terms, encourage unauthorized trading, or facilitate hacks, exploits, cheating or fraudulent activity.
  • Unauthorized use of third-party copyrighted material or intellectual property.

All content must also comply with the applicable community guidelines of relevant platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok) and with all applicable local laws and regulations.

Creators are expected to maintain content integrity across all formats and platforms associated with their participation in the Afterverse Creators Program.

For the avoidance of doubt, Afterverse does not endorse or assume responsibility for any content created by individual creators, even when such content relates to Afterverse titles or products.

3.1 Content Reuse and Plagiarism

Creators are expected to develop original content that reflects their own voice, creativity, and perspective. Reposting, mimicking, or closely replicating another creator’s work—such as scripts, thumbnails, titles, video formats, or other creative elements—without prior permission or proper credit is considered plagiarism and is strictly prohibited. This includes recreating content with the intent to compete unfairly, confuse viewers, or divert audience engagement.

Furthermore, creators must not use copyrighted materials from third parties without obtaining the necessary rights or permissions, even when providing attribution.

Afterverse reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether a creator’s conduct constitutes plagiarism or content misuse.

Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary actions, including suspension or permanent removal from the Afterverse Creators Program.

3.2 Collaborator Responsibility

Creators are fully responsible for the conduct and content of any individuals featured in their Afterverse-related materials, including but not limited to collaborators, guests, co-hosts, or any other participants appearing in videos, live streams, social media posts, or other formats connected to the Creator Program. Creators must ensure that any such individuals are aware of and comply with this Code of Conduct.

Offensive, inappropriate, harmful or otherwise unacceptable behavior by featured individuals — whether during live broadcasts or in pre-recorded content — may negatively affect the creator’s standing in the Program.

Afterverse reserves the right to take disciplinary action against the creator, including warnings, suspension, or removal from the Program, regardless of whether the violation was committed directly by the creator or by third parties featured in the content.

3.3 Giveaways, Monetization, and Creator Benefits

Giveaways involving Afterverse content, creator codes, or any official partnership rewards must be conducted transparently, fairly and in accordance with all applicable local laws and regulations governing promotions and contests. Creators are strictly prohibited from manipulating results, misleading participants to drive engagement, or monetizing these benefits in any form. Specifically, Creators may not:

  • Charge money in exchange for access to codes, pets, or rewards.
  • Restrict giveaway participation to paid members, subscribers, sponsors, or any other exclusionary criteria.
  • Sell, auction, or trade official Afterverse rewards for real-world currency, goods or services.
  • Host raffles, lotteries, or any form of chance-based promotion that require monetary entry.

All giveaways must be free to enter and accessible to the broader community.

Creators are solely responsible for ensuring that their giveaways comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Afterverse does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the administration, execution, or outcome of any creator-led giveaway.

Misuse of creator benefits for personal profit, exclusivity, or any other unauthorized purpose violates the integrity of the Program and may result in removal from the Afterverse Creators Program.

3.4 Sponsored Content and Advertising

Creators are required to comply with all relevant advertising laws, regulations, and platform-specific guidelines when publishing paid or sponsored content. This includes, but not limited to:

  • Clearly disclosing any commercial partnership, sponsorship, or paid promotion.
  • Using appropriate indicators such as #ad, #sponsored, or platform-specific tools like TikTok's “Paid Partnership” label or YouTube’s sponsorship disclosures.
  • Ensuring that all sponsored content remains aligned with the values of Afterverse and is suitable for a family-oriented audience.

Creators are solely responsible for understanding and complying with applicable local laws and regulations governing advertising and influencer marketing in their respective jurisdictions.

Failure to properly disclose advertising partnerships or to present content transparently may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent removal from the Afterverse Creators Program.

4. Gameplay Integrity and Ethical Conduct

Creators must maintain fairness, honesty, and integrity in gameplay and in their participation in the Afterverse Creators Program. The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Falsify engagement metrics such as followers, likes, views, or comments;
  • Use alternate or automated accounts (including bots) to manipulate in-game progression, event participation, or economic systems;
  • Sharing, promoting, or encouraging the use of third-party cheats, exploits, or unauthorized modifications;
  • Engaging in fraudulent use of creator rewards, codes, benefits, or promotional systems;
  • Abusing any internal tools or systems provided by Afterverse, including but not limited to creator-exclusive resources.

Any abuse of internal tools, game systems, or program benefits will trigger an immediate review by Afterverse and may lead to corrective measures, including suspension, audit, permanent removal from the program or sanctions on the creator’s personal in-game accounts.

4.1 In-Game Conduct

Creators are expected to model positive behavior within Afterverse games at all times, not just during recorded or published content. All in-game actions must align with the values of fairness, respect, and community spirit outlined in this Code of Conduct. Engaging in toxic behavior, exploiting bugs, disrupting gameplay for others, or violating in-game rules may negatively impact a creator’s status in the Program and may result in disciplinary action, including in-game penalties.

4.2 Alternate Account Usage

The use of alternate (“alt”) accounts is permitted for creative purposes, such as storytelling, content creation, or in-game trading, provided that these accounts fully comply with PK XD rules and this Code of Conduct.

Alt accounts must not be used for any harmful or abusive behavior, including but not limited to:

  • Harassment or bullying.
  • Manipulating events, systems, or game mechanics.
  • Bypassing in-game restrictions or penalties.
  • Engaging in fraudulent activities.

Sharing, selling, or transferring access to alt accounts is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary actions against the creator, including penalties on their main account and removal from the Afterverse Creators Program.

Afterverse reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to investigate any suspected misuse and to take corrective action as needed.

5. Community Participation

Creators are expected to foster a positive, inclusive, and constructive atmosphere across all communities where they are active. To protect the integrity and well-being of the Afterverse ecosystem, the following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Inciting hostility, harassment, or targeted pressure against any individual or group.
  • Publicly undermining, disparaging, or engaging in disrespectful attacks against Afterverse team members, moderators, or official statements.
  • Spreading unverified information, rumors, or confidential data obtained from private channels, tests, beta programs, or official statements.
  • Creating or engaging in public attacks, dramas, or competitive narratives that harm community spirit of Afterverse's reputation.

As visible members of the Afterverse Creator Program, creators serve as role models and are expected to contribute to a culture built on respect, safety, and collaboration.

Afterverse reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to assess and address any creator conduct – whether on official platforms or independent community spaces – that may violate this Code.

5.1 Responsibility for Independent Communities

Creators who manage, own, or moderate independent communities—such as Discord servers, group chats, or fan pages—related to Afterverse titles are responsible for maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment within those spaces. These communities must reflect the values and behavioral standards set forth in this Code of Conduct. Failure to address harassment, hate speech, toxicity, or ongoing violations within such communities may negatively impact the creator’s standing in the Program and may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent removal.

6. Confidentiality, Privacy, and Compliance

Creators may be granted early access to confidential information, including but not limited to upcoming features, internal documentation, testing environments, and pre-release content. To protect the integrity of Afterverse projects and operations, creators are required to:

  • Strictly adhere to any Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) signed with Afterverse.
  • Follow all embargo terms and conditions related to content publication or disclosure.
  • Respect intellectual property rights, branding guidelines, and third-party licenses.

Unauthorized use, disclosure, sharing, or publication of confidential materials is considered a serious violation of this Code and will result in immediate removal from the Creator Program. Afterverse also reserves the right to pursue legal action or other remedies available under applicable law.

6.1 Confidentiality of Internal Communications

All content shared within private Creator Program channels – including Discord servers, direct messages with Afterverse staff, warnings, emails and other communications – is considered strictly confidential.

Creators must not:

  • Share, quote, or repost internal communications publicly.
  • Create videos, posts, or any content that analyzes internal messages, exposes bans, or discusses disciplinary actions involving other creators.

These confidentiality obligations remain in effect even after the creator leaves or is removed from the Program.

Violations of this section may result in immediate removal from the Program and further legal consequences if applicable.

6.2 Handling of Leaks

In the event of a leak—whether related to game features, internal assets, or confidential announcements—creators are expected to immediately report the incident to Afterverse through official support channels.

Creators must not:

  • Create, share, repost, or promote content that spreads or amplifies leaked information, even if such information is already publicly circulating.
  • Benefit from, capitalize on, or encourage the dissemination of leaked materials.

Participation in or benefiting from leaks undermines the integrity of the Program and may result in disciplinary actions, including suspension or permanent removal from the Program.

6.3 Respect for Staff Privacy

Creators are strictly prohibited from producing, sharing, or encouraging content that attempts to reveal, speculate on, or investigate the real-life identities of Afterverse team members.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Creating content aimed at “finding out who the admin is”.
  • Exposing private details about Afterverse staff.
  • Encouraging others to investigate or speculate on the personal lives of Afterverse employees.

Even if intended as a joke, curiosity, or community challenge, such behavior constitutes a serious breach of privacy and trust.

Violations may result in immediate removal from the Program and additional legal action as deemed necessary by Afterverse.

6.4 Data Privacy

Afterverse will collect, use, and process personal data of creators as necessary for the administration, enforcement, support, and development of the Afterverse Creators Program. This may include, but is not limited to, data related to creator applications, performance, communications, behavioral assessments, and enforcement actions.

All personal data will be handled in accordance with Afterverse’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), where applicable.

By participating in the Program, creators acknowledge and consent to this data processing as described.

7. Legal Obligations and Platform Terms

Creators are independently responsible for ensuring that their content, behavior, and activities remain compliant with all applicable laws, regulations and platform-specific requirements in their respective jurisdictions. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Adhering to all local, national, and international laws and regulations applicable to their activities, including but not limited to those related to advertising disclosures, data privacy, child protection, intellectual property, consumer rights, and sponsorship transparency.
  • Following the terms of service, community guidelines, monetization policies, and any other applicable rules set forth by platforms used to distribute content (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Instagram).
  • Complying with Afterverse’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policies, Brand Guidelines, and any other official Afterverse policies applicable to creators.

Afterverse does not provide legal advice, and creators are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable laws and third-party platform rules.

Any violation of these external or internal rules may constitute a breach of this Code of Conduct and may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent removal from the Afterverse Creators Program, at Afterverse's sole discretion.

8. Enforcement, Suspension, and Appeals

Afterverse reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take any action deemed appropriate in response to any breach of this Code of Conduct. Depending on the severity, recurrence, or community impact of the violation, such actions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Verbal or written warnings;
  • Temporary suspension of Program benefits, privileges, or access;
  • Permanent removal from the Program;
  • Legal action or reporting to relevant authorities or third-party platforms, when applicable.

All enforcement decisions within the Afterverse Creators Program are made at Afterverse's sole discretion and based on internal evaluations. Such assessments may take into account not only the specific violation but also the broader behavioral history, context, and potential harm to the community or Afterverse's reputation. Afterverse may take action without prior notice and reserves the right to act in good faith and without requiring definitive legal proof when evaluating potential violations.

Creators who are suspended from the Program must continue to comply with the current Code of Conduct if they wish to be considered for reinstatement in the future. During the suspension period, creators are expected to reflect on the reasons for their suspension and must refrain from publishing any content that further violates Program guidelines. Continued harmful, misleading, or non-compliant behavior during the suspension period may result in permanent removal, with no opportunity for appeal.

Suspended or removed creators may request a formal review only after a minimum waiting period defined by Afterverse. Appeals must be submitted through official channels and must include clear evidence of behavioral improvement and renewed alignment with Program values.

Afterverse is under no obligation to reinstate any creator and reserves the right to deny appeals without further explanation. Participation in the Afterverse Creators Program is a privilege, not a right. By enrolling in the Program, creators waive any claims for damages or compensation resulting from disciplinary actions taken under this Code.

8.1 Account and Program Access

Afterverse reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disable, restrict, or terminate access to any creator account, associated in-game accounts, or Program-related tools at any time and without prior notice, if internal evaluations determine sufficient cause.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Violations of this Code of Conduct;
  • Threats to community safety;
  • Actions that compromise the integrity of the Program, Afterverse titles, or community trust.

All enforcement decisions are final and made at Afterverse’s sole discretion.

8.2 Monitoring and Audit Rights

Afterverse reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to monitor, review, investigate, and audit any creator activities, content, communications, or conduct that are directly or indirectly related to the Afterverse Creators Program, whether such activities occur on Afterverse platforms or on third-party platforms.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Reviewing public and private content published by creators that references Afterverse titles, products, brand, or community.
  • Assessing participation in events, giveaways, or promotional activities associated with the Program.
  • Verifying compliance with applicable laws, platform terms, and the provisions of this Code of Conduct.
  • Auditing the use and distribution of creator-exclusive tools, codes, rewards, or benefits provided by Afterverse.

Creators acknowledge and agree that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, Afterverse may collect and analyze relevant data and materials necessary for such audits or investigations, including but not limited to public social media posts, streaming content, videos, and in-game behavior.

Failure to cooperate with Afterverse’s reasonable monitoring or audit processes may itself constitute a violation of this Code of Conduct and may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent removal from the Program.

9. Representation and Brand Association

As a participant of the Afterverse Creators Program, you are viewed by the community as an extension of the Afterverse brand. With that privilege comes the responsibility to represent the brand respectfully and in alignment with its values.

Creators must not:

  • Claim, suggest, or imply formal endorsement, partnership, or sponsorship by Afterverse unless explicitly authorized in writing;
  • Associate the Afterverse name, trademarks, or products with illegal, unethical, harmful, or controversial third-party entities;
  • Use Afterverse intellectual property (including logos, characters, game assets, or names) outside the permitted use cases defined in Afterverse's Brand and Fan Content Guidelines;

Any use of Afterverse intellectual property must comply with the most current version of Afterverse’s Brand and Fan Content Guidelines, as may be updated from time to time.

Your public presence, including your tone, content, and collaborations, must consistently reflect the standards of this Code. Misrepresentation or misuse of the Afterverse brand may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent removal from the Program, at Afterverse's sole discretion.

9.1 Misrepresentation of Status

Creators must not falsely present themselves as Afterverse moderators, administrators, developers, employees, or insiders within any community—whether official or third-party. The Creator title is a privilege and must not be used to gain undue influence, mislead others, impersonate official roles, or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with Afterverse. Any misuse of this status may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent removal from the Program.

9.2 Unauthorized Merchandise

Creators are strictly prohibited from producing, selling, or promoting any merchandise that uses Afterverse's names, logos, characters, visual assets, or any other intellectual property without prior, explicit, and written authorization from Afterverse.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Clothing;
  • Accessories;
  • Digital goods;
  • Collectibles;
  • Any other commercial product featuring Afterverse intellectual property.

Unauthorized merchandizing constitutes a violation of this Code and Afterverse's Brand and Fan Content Guidelines. It may result in immediate removal from the Program and could trigger legal action or other remedies available under applicable law.

10. Updates and Amendments

Afterverse reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to update, modify, or replace this Code of Conduct at any time and without prior notice. Such changes may be made to reflect the evolving needs of the Creator Program, comply with legal or platform requirements, or to protect our players, games, and community.

Updated versions of the Code will be made available through official Afterverse communication channels. It is your sole responsibility to review the most current version of the Code regularly to ensure ongoing compliance.

Continued participation in the Afterverse Creators Program following any such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Code. By remaining in the program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with all terms outlined herein. Participation in the Program is conditional upon full adherence to this Code. Violations may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent removal from the Program, regardless of whether you have reviewed the most recent version in full.

11. Reporting and Escalation

If you witness a violation of this Code of Conduct or have concerns about the behavior of another creator, you are encouraged to report the incident to the Afterverse Creator Program team via the official support channel. Afterverse will review all reports as its sole discretion and is not obligated to take any specific action based on any report.

All reports will be handled confidentially and professionally. However, submitting knowingly false or malicious reports may itself constitute a violation of this Code and may lead to disciplinary action.

Any personal data shared during the reporting process will be handled in accordance with Afterverse’s Privacy Policy.

By participating in the Afterverse Creators Program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to fully comply with this Code of Conduct.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Code of Conduct shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of or related to this Code or the Afterverse Creators Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Campinas, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

13. General Provisions

13.1. Participation Privilege

Participation in the Afterverse Creators Program is a privilege, not a right. Enrollment in the Program does not create, and shall not be construed as creating, any legal right, entitlement, or guarantee of continued participation.

Afterverse reserves the right to modify, suspend, limit, or terminate the Program, or any individual creator’s participation therein, at any time and for any reason, with or without prior notice, and without incurring any liability to the affected creator or to third parties.

This includes, but is not limited to, the right to discontinue specific Program benefits, make structural or operational changes to the Program, or cease the Program in its entirety.

Creators expressly acknowledge and agree that their continued participation is subject to ongoing compliance with this Code of Conduct and all other applicable Afterverse policies, and that Afterverse’s decisions regarding participation, eligibility, and continued enrollment are final, binding, and not subject to appeal, except as expressly provided in this Code.

13.2. No Waiver

Failure by Afterverse to enforce any provision of this Code on one or more occasions does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce the same or any other provision in the future.

13.3. Severability

If any provision of this Code is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13.4. Non-Transferability

Participation in the Afterverse Creators Program is personal and non-transferable. Creators may not assign, sell, transfer, or otherwise delegate their Program membership, benefits, or obligations to any other individual or entity without Afterverse’s prior written consent.

13.5. Reservation of Rights

Afterverse reserves all rights not expressly granted in this Code of Conduct. Nothing in this Code shall limit Afterverse’s ability to enforce its rights under applicable law or take any actions deemed necessary to protect its business, users, or community.

13.6. Entire Agreement

This Code of Conduct, together with any applicable Non-Disclosure Agreements and official Afterverse policies referenced herein, constitutes the entire agreement between Afterverse and creators regarding participation in the Afterverse Creators Program. It supersedes any prior agreements, communications, or understandings related to the Program.

13.7. Interpretation

This Code of Conduct has been drafted and will be interpreted in good faith and in accordance with its stated objectives of ensuring fairness, safety, and the integrity of the Afterverse Creators Program.

In the event of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or dispute regarding the interpretation, scope, or application of any provision of this Code, Afterverse reserves the exclusive right to determine the appropriate interpretation and resolution, at its sole discretion.

Such interpretation shall take into account the overall spirit, intent, and objectives of this Code, as well as Afterverse’s duty to protect its players, community, games, intellectual property, and commercial interests.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, creators expressly waive any right to contest Afterverse’s good faith interpretation of the provisions of this Code.

13.8. Force Majeure

Afterverse shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under this Code due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet outages, platform failures, government actions, or other force majeure events.
